Are chocolate bars growing on trees?(Yr.13)

In Schwedt many trees were found which have many different chocolate varieties as fruits.
The day before yesterday in the afternoon M. M. saw one tree with five bars of milk chocolate. He couldn’t believe his eyes, but it was so curious so he tried the chocolate. M. reported to the journalist that it was so delicious so he had to bite off again.
I took one of the chocolate bars and went to Dr. S.Nickers to check the substance. After a few hours he called back and insured that this was normal, eatable chocolate. He also found out, that the Schwedt chocolate was healthier than other well- known chocolate.
Yesterday morning we were looking at the chocolate trees again and there was much more than the day before. Before people can eat the chocolate without reservation scientists must check out how the plant grows and what the plant needs to live.
Maybe you can look forward to eating the chocolate in a few days from the trees. Watch out!

Am 18.2. 2016 besuchten die 11ten Klassen unserer Schule eine etwas andere Theateraufführung: Frankenstein, The Monster and the Myth in englischer Sprache, eine Geschichte um einen ambitionierten jungen Wissenschaftler, der einen Menschen aus Leichenteilen erschafft und damit viele Probleme provoziert.

Alles grün oder was??
Am Dienstag, dem17.3.2015, feiern unsere Partner in Irland St. Patrick’s Day.
Es gibt ALLES in grün und jeder ist fröhlich und ausgelassen.
Wir wollen mit euch ein bisschen irisches Flair in die Schule bringen und rufen euch auf:
Zieht euch grün an! Schminkt euch grün! Tragt irische Symbole wie z. B. Kleeblätter!
In der zweiten Hofpause gibt es in der Cafeteria ein lustiges Quiz und lustige Fotos.
Wir wünschen uns viel Spaß mit vielen grüngekleideten Schülern.

Pohle-Hahn, Zellmer, Hucke

Liebe Talsänder,

es ist wieder so weit: der ultimative Talsandadventskalender öffnet sich für Euch. Viele von Euch werden sich erinnern und sich fragen, ob und wie es dieses Jahr sein wird. Hier sind die Regeln für den 2014er Adventskalender: Jeden Tag wird es eine dem Tag entsprechende Zahl geben, die auf einem Blatt irgendwo im Schulhaus zu finden ist. Wer sie findet, kann im Sekretariat ein „Türchen öffnen“, d.h. ein Päckchen aussuchen  – natürlich nur mit Vorlage des Blattes! Also Augen offen halten, vielleicht bist DU es ja, der in diesem Advent Glück hat.

Pohle-Hahn

Seit drei Tagen sind acht fleissige Schüler mit Handarbeiten beschäftigt. Emily, Erik, Jasmin, Leon, Maria, Markus, Philip und Patrick mit Unterstützung von Frau Pohle-Hahn und Frau Kuhnert versuchen sich im Häkeln und Stricken, Nähen und Flechten,Bommeln herstellen und Wolle wickeln. Sogar stricken ohne Nadeln stand auf dem Programm. Als Resultate können wir  anbieten: ein rot goldenes Band, eine Handytasche , lange Wollschlangen, einen Schal, lustige Bommeln und verschiedene Musterproben.

Einschätzung der Schüler: lustig, mal was anderes, anstrengend, nervenraubend, erstaunlich, verrückt, und auf jeden Fall neu.

 

On Wednesday we made a trip to London and had time to see this great city, of course we had a big shopping tour. And on Thursday we were in Portsmouth and saw the HMS Warrior and could go on board the HMS Victory of Admiral Nelson(which is a ship too) After the excursion we played Laserquest. A lot of the pupils liked it. At the end of the day there was a Karaoke evening. (By Danilo)

 

 At first we went by bus to see Stonehenge and visit the cathedral in Salisbury. After this we had free time to do what we want. This trip was great for all fans of history.

 

Die Schüler der Jahrgangsstufe 9 sind in England angekommen und genießen die Gastfreundschaft in ihren Familien. Sie erleben jeden Tag etwas Aufregendes und an dieser Stelle berichten sie für Euch von ihrer Reise.
Der erste Beitrag ist von Danilo: Er schickt ein Foto des Busses bei einen Zwischenstopp und meint die Fahrt wäre echt hart gewesen.

Englischunterricht mal anders- Schüler der Oberstufe sahen am 24.2.2014 das Theaterstück „The Wave“, eine Produktion der American Drama Group Europe als Gastspiel an den Uckermärkischen Bühnen. Gut vorbereitet ließen sich die Schüler auf die Muttersprachler ein und verfolgten das Geschehen. Hier einige Stimmen der Schüler der 11a nach dem Stück:
„I absolutely recommend the play to all people, it doesn’t matter if they are students or pensioners.“

„For me the ending came too fast and it was shortened too much.“

„It was incredible how they played and acted.“

„I have never seen an English play before and now I can just recommend doing it to everyone.“

„I think it is worth watching because it is interesting and you can learn a lot.“

„I recommend the play to people who haven’t seen the film, the film is much more thrilling.“

„It was fascinating to see how one can show so much with so little.“

„My point of view is that I would recommend it to anyone, it reflects the general message of the experiment but there are a few things I don’t like.“

„For me the setting was a total disadvantage, it confused me to see only boxes being moved around.“

„I enjoyed the play a lot and I recommend it to everyone who doesn’t mind an awesome story served in a simple way.“
